The only way to get to Witch's Gulch is on one of the boat tours. It is well worth the expense and effort to take one of the tours. I took the Upper Dells tour. There is a flat boardwalk running the full length of the gulch. It leads to a concession stand. All ages can walk the boardwalk with little if any difficulty.

I wish there was another way to do so, but it was our boys' first time on a Dells Boat Tour so it was okay for us. Be prepared for lots of people on a narrow board walk and a gift shop/concession stand at the end, but if you have the chance to see it, you must!
