How to adjust weed eater carb
Locate the adjustment screws found in most weed eater lawn mower carburators – usually located near air filters. Turn each screw until they're tight. Slowly back them out 1-1/2 turns. Start up your mower and let warm up for 5 minutes.
Move the choke lever to the run position and release the trigger throttle. Grab your screwdriver and place it in the idle speed adjustment screw. Turn it clockwise in quarter-turn stages if the engine starts but won't idle. If the engine idles too fast, turn the speed screw counterclockwise.
