LCM setup would involve a GS/Claymore for dmg (+ a few other things) and RCM involves pure right click like Ss and midas staff. You also build it differently compared to RCM. Currently I have a semi-decent mage setup that has a yeti sword, and I lcm/rcm. Rcm with yeti sword works well in basic kuudra but it gets harder in hot tier and pretty much impossible in burning tier.
