I had the exact problems. I dont think the crack in the hose poses a danger but for the sake of piece of mind, I bought two new hoses from NAPA (15$ each) and replaced them. It was almost impossible to find the reservoir but after calling almost 30 part stores, including the dealer, I got to find Meyle from Carquest for 40$.
