I personally have an M4, but he didn't have the budget for that (nor could I find one anyhow). I have been pleasantly surprised by it, especially for an under $300 semi-auto.

You just have to remove the roll crimp at the end of the existing mag tube. This can be done by cutting off a couple of threads or filing down the crimp, which is what I did with a Dremel and a sanding wheel. It was simple and only took a couple of minutes.
