Shogun 2 is the most polished game of any total war IMO, and FOTS is the best iteration of gunpowder of any total war game by far. and it has the best UI and feeling of a game. although like some of the newer SAGA titles it suffers from repetition due to the small setting. BUT it is a great experience nonetheless.
