My current budget is around $600. I have been looking at area 419, proof, lijia, and the current group buy on sniperhide. In the end, I was able to slap together a CZ 457 using drop-in parts with comparable accuracy to a Vudoo, but for $1000 less. If money is no object, get the Vudoo. This 457 action is incredibly smooth with bolt movement, feeding and ejection is strong. This one will make a good platform to build on. As far as the barrel screws, I torqued them to 5.5 N-m or 48 in-pounds .. Try reducing the action screws to 18 ~ 22 inch pounds. Can't hurt and can always be increased.
